"Migrate very large databases to Azure SQL DB Hyperscale"

The client was able to avail of our consultants extensive experience in Cloud database services and database cloud migrations to continue to successfully deliver the requirements of this very large project. 

The project is still ongoing but has successfully delivered most of the requirements including:

• Successfully migrated 25TB+ data to Azure Cloud SQL DB.
• Onboarded multiple end user clients and ensured a smooth transition to using cloud database services.
• Designed and implemented a performant solution in the Azure SQL DB Hyperscale service, availing of multiple database replicas for scaling out read workloads for end user client analytics.
• Implemented an advance security model using Azure Entra and Database Role and Schema Based security. 
• Successfully enabled multi-tenant security model of dataset further protected using Row Level Security and Encryption features.
• Implemented development and test environments to further protect production data and services.

Our consultant continues to work with the client to ensure and successful transition to BAU services for the Azure Cloud database solution. While enabling the clients data team to skill up and gain cloud database experience to eventually take over full ownership of cloud database services internally.
