Our partnership sees Magnet Solutions provide ongoing consultancy on all areas of database technology. Our partnership has evolved from some minimal ad hoc support to a full time partnership where our consultants advise, guide and implement database projects.

Magnet Solutions have assisted our client in projects such as:

• Cloud Migration of their core product databases which servers 24/7 card processing and reporting. The project migrated multiple product databases from a host on-premise solution to Microsoft Azure database Platform as a Service (PaaS) solution. This was completed with minimal downtime well within the clients original target with minimal impact on their core card processing services.
• Design and implementation of a data archiving solution utilising Microsoft Azure cloud services. Data is routinely archived to offline read only file storage while still being able to access the data directly from the application database. Our clients saves money as the storage is much cheaper and online database storage, while still being able to access the data at any time through the same client systems.
• Designed, implemented and support an ETL solution in Azure Data Factory which ingests sales and processing data from an end client, processes through transformations and loads the data into a reporting database where our client and their end client can analyse the data.

Magnet Solutions provides ad hoc support and consultancy for database issues that complement the clients IT Service Managed Service with a large managed service provider.
